In November, Barry, Deanne and Brittney Power of Barry's North Atlantic
in Chapel Arm, put a large bottle on the counter in their store. On the
label, they promised to match every donation that was put in the
bottle. At the end of December, they gave us $335 that was in the
bottle, $335 to match that amount, and an additional $500. But they
weren't finished. They decided to put the bottle back on the counter
and continued to match every donation.
They attended our big
announcement on February 14 and presented us again with the bottle of
money. There was $253 in the bottle.
And they more than matched it when
they just presented us with a cheque for $653. That brings the total
donation to $1823.
