These 30,000 pieces will be added to what was collected at the school and what was dropped off at Green Depot in the name of the school and go towards the "Top Your Total" contest held by MMSB. Every school in the province was given their number to beat for the month of March. It represents the average monthly number of containers the school collected last year. Holy Family's number was 6916. Whichever school has the highest increase (percentage-wise) over this number wins the grand prize – $10,000! If Holy Family Elementary School wins the prize, the playground fund will increase by an additional $5,000. So lets keep our fingers crossed.
